About the Course
Maine Valley Members Golf Club is situated just outside Killorglin town and is among the most scenic anywhere in the world. The club overlooks the River Laune as it enters Dingle Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Centrally located on the Ring of Kerry, it is one of the closest courses to Kerry Airport, which is only 20 minutes away. The course is also convenient for Tralee (22 km) and Killarney (20 km). This parkland course has tight tree-lined fairways, many bunkers and water hazards. Designed by Eddie Hackett, well known as one of the most celebrated golf course architects in Ireland, the course makes excellent use of the landscape to provide exciting golfing challenges. Whether you are a veteran of the game or just starting out, Maine Valley Members Golf Club will test every aspect of your game.
Our Club
The golf club has been rejuvenated since the amalgamation of the Killorglin and Castleisland clubs and is now open to new members. Maine Valley Members Golf Club was established in June of 2020. It began as an amalgamation of the members of what was the then Killorglin Golf Club and members of Castleisland Golf Club. The name 'Maine Valley' was borne from the fact that the River Maine starts near Castleisland and enters the sea not far from the golf course itself in Killorglin. We have a wide range of membership options to suit every need. Membership to the course is now open. To join Maine Valley Members Golf Club you will need to complete an application form. Please contact the pro shop on (066) 9761979 or call to the club-house in Killorglin. A full list of prices is detailed below. Current members of Maine Valley Members Golf Club can book their tee times via the BRS booking system. This can be accessed from the button below.
